A sunny October day in Eindhoven with a Game Boy Camera
The 6th of October 2024 was a great day. I took my Game Boy Camera and went out to take some pictures, that I am now able to transfer to my phone or PC. All photos were edited using the webtool of Andreas Hahn - using default palettes for most, but the white-red-light red-black scheme is the color of the flag of Eindhoven. Finally, all images were upscaled (Nearest Neighbor) using nomacs.
The traffic diversion offered a good spot to stand.
Getting a properly exposed shot was tricky.
The logo is barely visible. Overcast weather helped with the contrast, notice the lines on the side of the Mathildelaan.
Near the roundabout of the Tilburgseweg and the Beukenlaan.
I am really satisfied with the results; the engagement I got was really motivating. On that note, I was also able to sneak in some advertisements regarding the Game Boy Printer Emulators I built. Four happy customers so far! I hope they too will be able to make some great pictures.
Also, great to see that Jekyll does not do weird image viewport tricks; the pictures are pixel-perfect and razor sharp.
